Club Anabel
Located at the back of The Burlington Hotel, Club Anabel is one of Dublin’s hottest night spots. The club is open Thursdays to Saturdays and delegates staying in the hotel on Thursday 26 October will have complimentary access to the club on Thursday evening on presentation of their room keys.
The dress code for the nightclub is casual, but training shoes will not be permitted.


Dublin Marathon
The Dublin Marathon will be taking place in the city on Monday 30 October 2006 starting at 09.00. If you are interested in participating, further information can be found at the official website www.dublincitymarathon.ie.

Tour of Georgian Dublin, Christchurch and St Michlims
13.30 until 17.00
Cost: approx. 38 euros

This trip starts with the Georgian Squares of Dublin. This brings guests around the three famous Georgian Squares of Dublin’s city centre - Merrion Square, Fitzwilliam Square and St Stephen’s Green. These squares are steeped in history – literary and political – and all buildings of significant importance are pointed out en route. From here, you will continue up to Christchurch. From here, you will visit St. Michlims, a beautiful church situated right beside Christchurch.

Powerscourt House with lunch at Johnnie Fox’s Pub
12.45 until 17.00
Cost: approx. 70 euros (includes access to gardens, tour guide, two-course lunch and transport)

Guests will be transported to Johnnie Fox’s – the highest pub in Ireland - for a traditional Irish lunch. From here, you will be transported to the beautiful village of Glendalough, for a visit and time to walk around the town. From here, you will be taken to Powerscourt House. Powerscourt House is a magnificent manor dating from the eighteenth century. The manor looks out on to some of the world’s most magnificent gardens. These include Japanese gardens, Italian gardens and magnificent Irish Road gardens. Here, you can have afternoon tea, if desired.

The Johnnie Fox's Hooley Experience

Cost: approx. 65 euros per person (includes coach to and from Johnnie Fox’s, dinner and entertainment. Drinks are extra). Please note that this takes place at the same time as the Cochrane Game.

Guests will meet in the lobby of The Burlington Hotel and be transferred to Glencullen – the highest village in Ireland - to experience Johnnie Fox’s Hooley night. The Johnnie Fox's Hooley Experience is famous throughout Ireland and abroad for its originality and unique atmosphere that can be found nowhere else in the country. Our guests are invited to a four–course meal where you can savour our various award winning seafood cuisines. The meal is followed by a live Irish music session featuring ballads, traditional and folk music, topped off with a spectacular Irish dancing show, choreographed by Belinda Murphy of River Dance fame and has been described as one of the best culture shows in the country. Without doubt, the Johnnie Fox's HooleyExperience is one not to be missed and a fantastic night is guaranteed.

Musical Pub Crawl with Dinner
18.30 until 23.30 Cost: approx. 87 euros per person (includes three-course dinner in restaurant, one drink in two Irish pubs and transport to and from city centre. Also includes guides for the pubs)

A coach will pick you up at The Burlington Hotel and take you to dinner in a local restaurant. After dinner, you will be taken by an official tour guide to one of Dublin’s traditional pubs. Here, you will enjoy a traditional Irish Session with live music and a pint of Guinness. From here, you will move to another pub and will enjoy another drink and more tales of Irish folklore and music. From here, you will be brought to one final pub and left to have a drink until the coach comes and picks you up to bring you home. A night not to be missed.
