The Cochrane Collaboration is a registered charity in the UK and must adhere to the legal requirements governing UK charities. One of these requirements is to hold a meeting (known as an Annual General Meeting, or AGM) of the organisation's members once a year. The Cochrane entities are the 'members' of The Cochrane Collaboration, and one person from each entity is expected to attend this meeting.
The AGMs of The Cochrane Collaboration (the charity) and the Collaboration Trading Company Limited (its trading subsidiary) will take place at 1100 on Wednesday 25 October in the Pembroke Room at The Burlington Hotel.
The Report and Financial Statements of the Collaboration and the Trading Company will be sent to the contact people of all registered entities, 21 days in advance of the AGMs.
